Controller/ Senior Manager

$80,000 – $140,000
Accounting and advisory firm seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Controller/Bookkeeper to join our team in a leadership capacity.

Typical Functions:

• Train and manage bookkeepers
• Review financial statements
• Design accounting operations workflow
• Clean up old books/setup new chart of accounts
• Monthly financial closings
• Budgeting, projections and financial analysis
• Prepare financials for audit, review, and compilation engagements.
• General reviewing, training, and guiding account managers

REQUIRED Qualifications and Skills:
• At least 5 years relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience, inc. monthly and yearly financial closings
• Understands accruals, deferrals and journal entries,
• Understands accounting principles and the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, QuickBooks (Online and Desktop)
• Commitment to work between 30-40 hours per week
