The Life Skills & Job Training Program Manager is a key leadership role within Friendship Circle, responsible for overseeing the success, growth, and daily operations of our Life Skills & Job Training Program for adults with special needs.

This individual serves as the bridge between participants, families, staff, volunteers, employers, and community partners, ensuring that every aspect of the program operates with excellence, structure, and heart.

This position is ideal for an experienced special education professional who is highly organized, proactive, and passionate about empowering individuals with special needs to reach their fullest potential.

What You’ll Do
Oversee the daily operations of the Life Skills & Job Training Program
Supervise teachers, career coaches, and program staff
Manage participant registrations, intakes, and family communication
Oversee curriculum implementation, participant progress, and program outcomes
Track data, reporting, and structured program components
Build relationships with local businesses and community partners
Expand employment, volunteer, and community inclusion opportunities for participants
Ensure consistent organization, accountability, and follow-through across all areas of the program

What We’re Looking For
Significant experience working with individuals with special needs
Strong leadership, organizational, and people-management skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Experience supervising staff and coordinating multiple priorities
Background in Special Education, Exceptional Student Education, Human Services, or a related field preferred
