Job Description
Assist the GMS admin with day-to-day operations and GMS events.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with planning GMS school events
Coordinate details for all field trips as needed; arrange travel for assigned personnel as required.
Create and compile curriculum orders for the year and as needed.
Register and maintain student accounts in instructional technology programs
Coordinate substitute assignments and arrangements for GMS sub-coverage.
Manage morning and afternoon carpool staffing and protocol.
Coordinate standardized testing process and schedule.
Help Principal plan for the new school year; with direction, coordinate classroom set-up, furniture, non-curricular materials/building needs.
Plan, collect, review, edit, and submit weekly GMS newsletter articles from department rotation schedule.
Performs diverse office-related managerial responsibilities within areas and limits of authority as delegated by the Principal.
Handle routine issues and emergencies concerning employees and students, make decisions independently or collaboratively, and recommend action as appropriate.
Compile information and prepare and maintain a variety of records and reports related to assigned activities.
Prepare and submit purchase orders and work orders as assigned.
Resolve staff problems and provide support to teachers.
Assist with divisional budget, including creation, tracking and keeping on top of it.
