Senior Category Manager
Job Description
We are a wholesale grocers business specialising in the trade of household and health & beauty products. We buy and sell products daily, working with vendors and customers across Canada and the US. Our mission is to offer top-quality, in-demand products at competitive prices, and we’re looking to grow our catalog significantly. To help lead this growth, we’re seeking an experienced and driven Senior Category Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Source and establish relationships with new vendors and manufacturers for household and health & beauty products.
* Analyze sales trends, market data, and profitability to identify category expansion opportunities.
* Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure competitive and profitable purchasing.
* Manage product onboarding, including pricing strategy, SKU setup, and initial forecasting.
* Work closely with operations, sales, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on category goals.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in category management, product sourcing, or merchandising within a wholesale or retail environment.
* Proven experience growing product assortments and managing vendor relationships.
* Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication, organization, and decision-making abilities.
* Familiarity with household, personal care, or health & beauty products is highly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time. Remote position (company’s HQ in Canada).
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year for experienced people.
