Per Diem Graphic Designer (Remote)

The Hebrew Free Burial Association is seeking a part-time, per diem Graphic Designer to collaborate with our editorial team on the design and layout of our print and digital newsletter.
Role Overview
This role focuses on transforming written content into a visually engaging, clear, and mission-aligned newsletter. The designer will work closely with editors to ensure consistency, readability, and professional presentation across both print and digital formats.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and layout a recurring newsletter (print and digital versions)
• Collaborate with the editorial team on structure, flow, and visual hierarchy
• Apply consistent branding, typography, and formatting
• Prepare files for print production and digital distribution
• Make revisions based on editorial feedback and deadlines
Qualifications
• Proven experience in graphic design, particularly newsletters or editorial layouts
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent
• Strong sense of typography, layout, and visual storytelling
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting
• Experience with print-ready files a plus
