We are seeking an experienced Credentialing Specialist to manage and oversee the insurance credentialing process for our client’s company. This role is critical to ensuring that providers are properly enrolled, contracted, and credentialed with insurance companies to support smooth billing and reimbursement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and highly familiar with insurance credentialing requirements.

*Key Responsibilities:*
Manage the full credentialing and re-credentialing process for providers with insurance carriers.
Prepare and submit applications to commercial and government payers.
Track credentialing status, follow up with payers, and resolve issues to ensure timely approvals.
Maintain up-to-date records of all provider credentialing documents and information.
Verify provider information for accuracy and compliance with payer requirements.
Coordinate with providers, leadership, and billing staff to ensure credentialing supports business operations.
Stay current with insurance regulations, payer requirements, and industry best practices.

*Qualifications:*
*Must have* At least 2–3 years of experience in insurance credentialing (healthcare setting).
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance and government payers (Medicare, Medicaid, etc.).
Experience with CAQH, NPPES, PECOS, and other credentialing platforms.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and credentialing
