Job summary:
Serve as the senior operational leader of the Shul, working closely with the Rabbi, President, and Board to implement the shul’s vision and strategic goals

Oversee all day-to-day operations of the Shul, ensuring a well-run, welcoming, and professional environment

Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, vendor contracts, and financial controls

Oversee membership onboarding, retention, and engagement efforts

Serve as a point of contact for members regarding operational matters, concerns, and feedback

Help create a warm, organized, and responsive member experience

Support initiatives that strengthen community involvement and participation

Coordinate logistics for Shabbas, Yom Tov, and Simchas

Oversee planning and execution of Shul programs, lectures, classes, and social events

Manage operational aspects of lifecycle events (bar/bat mitzvahs, weddings, kiddushim, etc.)

Work with volunteers and committees to ensure programs are well-run and financially responsible

Oversee maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of the Shul

Supervise projects, renovations, and ongoing facility improvements

Partner with lay leadership on fundraising initiatives, appeals, and campaigns

Support donor relations, sponsorships, and special gifts

Track pledges, acknowledgments, and donor communications
