The Role
We are looking for a creative and technology-literate Business Development Associate to join our team in our Boca Raton office. This is a hands-on role focused on sourcing and acquiring non-performing first mortgages on small commercial properties and businesses.
You won’t just be “dialing for dollars”—you will be crafting professional business proposals, building long-term relationships with banks and private lenders, and making aggressive, data-driven offers on debt portfolios.
What You Will Do:
Outreach: Proactively reach out to banks, credit unions, and private lenders to source non-performing mortgage notes for sale.
Negotiation: Analyze debt opportunities and make formal offers to purchase 1st mortgages.
Relationship Management: Build and nurture a network of brokers, lenders, and investors to generate a consistent lead flow.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute plans to target high-potential markets and segments for mortgage acquisitions.
Collaboration: Work with internal teams on due diligence, underwriting, and closing processes.
Technology Utilization: Use CRM software and modern digital tools to track prospects, manage your pipeline, and maintain detailed activity records.
Who You Are:
Experienced: You have a solid background in real estate or the mortgage industry. You understand debt structures and how the industry works.
Tech-Savvy: You are technology literate and comfortable using modern tools to streamline outreach and create high-quality presentations.
Work Ethic: You genuinely love to work. You are dependable, self-motivated, and take pride in “owning” your desk and your results.
Creative Thinker: You don’t just follow a script; you look for unique angles to solve problems and get deals done.
Local: This is an in-office position at our Boca Raton headquarters.
