Job Description
Miami Blues is seeking a highly motivated store manager for a Beachwear/Surf
store located in Pompano Beach. Store hours are 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with
shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 5 to 6 days a week, 40 to
50 hours per week, depending on the season. Weekend availability is required (except for Shabbat for those who’s observe)
during the season.
Customer Service Expectations
* Provide excellent customer service by being attentive, helpful, and friendly.
* Greet customers, assist with purchases, and ensure a positive shopping
experience.
The store manager must be able to work with customers, manage a team
of employees, delegate tasks, receive and check in merchandise,
merchandising the store, and oversee ongoing operations and day to day
duties of the store. The store manager should ensure the following
responsibilities are met:
A. Floor Sales: Strive to achieve and enhance sales within the store,
employing strategies to maximize upselling opportunities whenever
feasible.
B. Fitting Room Attendance: Assist customers as they enter and exit
fitting rooms according to store policies displayed at each fitting room door.
Merchandise Management:
D. Store Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the store
floor, stockroom, bathroom, and oNice through thorough cleaning, sweeping,
and mopping.
E. Professional Conduct: Maintain respect, politeness, and good etiquette
towards customers and colleagues. Disrespect, harassment, racism, and
religious comments are not tolerated.
F. Punctuality: Arrive five minutes before your shift begins and be
prepared to stay beyond the scheduled end time if required.
