I have had many years of experience in Nursing as well as other allied health fields, and have functioned in varied areas of clinical care as well as supervision.
I have published a teaching handbook in conjunction with the University of Northern Iowa geared to orientating hospital staff to the needs and customs of an ethnic group which might be different from the culture of some Florida communities. I am quite familiar with delivery of patient care in private homes, and presently I am working part time in a gastrointestinal endoscopy clinic. In this position I screen the patients on their admission for their procedure, start their intravenous access, recover them from the anesthesia and the endoscopy, as well as prepare them for discharge. This would seem to include many of the facets of most job descriptions. My Florida Registered Nurse License is current as well as BLS. and ACLS. I am a USA citizen by birth. With that, I have also a current New York State license and have lived in Montreal, Canada.
