Fleet Maintenance Technician / Spare Driver

Golden Apple Transportation – South Florida

Golden Apple Transportation is looking for a reliable and hardworking Fleet Maintenance Technician / Spare Driver to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role with opportunity for growth and training.

Responsibilities:

* Wash, clean, and maintain buses (interior & exterior)
* Perform general upkeep and yard organization
* Complete tasks assigned by Director of Operations
* Inspect vehicles for damage, wear, and safety issues
* Check and maintain fluid levels (oil, coolant, DEF, etc.)
* Monitor tire condition (tread depth, pressure, etc.)
* Replace/clean air filters and handle minor maintenance items
* Assist with basic repairs and preventative maintenance
* Fill in as a driver for school bus and coach routes when needed

Requirements:

* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
* Willingness to learn and take direction
* Ability to perform physical work (lifting, cleaning, etc.)
* Clean driving record preferred
* Must pass background check and drug test

CDL Training Opportunity:

We are willing to train the right candidate and pay for CDL school, with a 1-year employment commitment upon completion.
