Throughout his career, Chaim has been recognized for building high-performing technology organizations and implementing governance structures that align technology investments with business objectives. He has led large-scale infrastructure modernization programs, cloud migrations, cybersecurity initiatives, and enterprise data governance strategies supporting complex multi-site organizations.
Most recently, Chaim served as Director of Human Resources Information Systems and Technology at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System, where he led the development and implementation of enterprise HR technology platforms supporting the institution’s workforce strategy. Prior to that role, he served as Director of Information Security and Technology, leading enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operational technology strategy for a major academic medical center.
Earlier in his career, Chaim held senior technology leadership roles with Cerner Corporation, Lutheran Brotherhood, and Electronic Data Systems, directing global technology initiatives and enterprise infrastructure programs supporting hundreds of thousands of users worldwide.
Chaim holds a Juris Doctor from Thomas Cooley Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Touro College. His legal background provides unique insight into vendor negotiations, technology contracts, and regulatory governance within complex organizations.
