Full-Time PE Instructor – Girls’ Division
Grades: 1–8

Position Overview:
Yeshiva Elementary School’s Girls’ Division is seeking a dynamic, professional, and energetic Physical Education Instructor to lead our PE program for grades 1–8. The ideal candidate will inspire a love for physical activity, promote healthy habits, and foster teamwork and middos tovos in a warm, Torah-aligned environment. This is a full-time position that also includes active supervision during recess and lunch.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and teach engaging, age-appropriate PE lessons for girls in grades 1–8

Promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork, and confidence

Maintain a structured and positive classroom and gym environment

Monitor and assess student participation and skill development

Manage sports equipment and ensure a safe, organized space

Supervise students during recess and lunch, ensuring safety and positive social interaction

Collaborate with teachers and school leadership to support the overall development of each student

Participate in school events and special programs related to wellness and physical activity

Qualifications:

Experience teaching or working with elementary and middle school girls

Background in physical education, kinesiology, or related field preferred

Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills

Positive, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor

Commitment to fostering a nurturing and Torah-aligned environment

Schedule:
Full-time position, Monday–Friday during school hours. Includes recess and lunch supervision duties.
